Living with an autoimmune or chronic health condition can affect far more than your physical health. It can influence how you think, feel, behave, relate to others and experience everyday life.
My work focuses on helping you better understand the relationship between your mind, emotions, behaviours and physical wellbeing.
Together, we explore the patterns, experiences and stressors that may be influencing — how you feel and how you live, while developing practical, sustainable ways forward that support greater self understanding, resilience and wellbeing.
This is not about following a one-size-fits-all programme or simply adding more information to what you already know. It is about understanding, what is happening beneath the surface, identifying what may be keeping you stuck and developing an approach that is appropriate to you.
Your work with me is individually tailored to your circumstances, goals and needs. Depending on what is relevant to you, our work may include:
There is no single pathway that works for everyone.
Our work begins by understanding, where you are now, what you have experienced and what you would like to change. From there, we identify the areas, that may be most useful to explore and build practical strategies that you can apply in your own life.
The aim is not simply to give you more things to do. It is to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, recognise patterns more clearly and develop approaches, that are realistic and sustainable beyond our work together.
Premium 1:1 is my most personalised offer of support.
It is designed for people, who want dedicated, individual attention to explore the psychological, behavioural and lifestyle dimensions of living with an autoimmune or chronic health condition.
Rather than following a fixed programme, we work together around your individual circumstances, challenges and goals, with the focus adapting as your needs evolve.
The work may involve understanding patterns and triggers, developing emotional regulation and stress-management strategies, strengthening sustainable habits, navigating relationships and life challenges and exploring how you can move towards a fuller and more meaningful life alongside your health circumstances.
Throughout the process, we review what is changing, what remains difficult and what may need to be approached differently.
The objective is not simply, to manage a set of symptoms or provide more information; it is to help you develop greater self-understanding, practical tools, confidence and resilience, that you can continue to draw upon long after our work together has ended.
The frequency and structure of your sessions, together with any additional resources or support are tailored, according to your circumstances and agreed during the initial conversation.
The Premium 1:1 investment is discussed, once we have established whether Premium 1:1 is appropriate for you and what level of support would be most suitable for you.
1. Complimentary conversation
We discuss where you are now, what you are looking for and whether my approach may be appropriate.
2. Initial consultation
If we decide to work together, we explore your circumstances, history, priorities and goals in greater depth.
3. Personalised support
We develop an approach around your needs, with the focus adapting as your circumstances and priorities evolve.
My approach brings together psychological understanding, behavioural change, lifestyle education and an integrative perspective.
Where appropriate, this may include discussion of nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, recovery and other aspects of wellbeing. These areas are considered within the context of the individual, rather than as a prescriptive programme.
My work does not replace medical diagnosis, treatment or advice. Where medical or specialist support is required, I encourage you to work with the appropriate medical and healthcare professionals, alongside our work together.
My background combines qualifications and professional training in psychology and counselling with additional training in areas, including nutrition (AIP), psychoneuroimmunology, integrative health, trauma-sensitive practice and behavioural approaches.
I am a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society and hold professional memberships, qualifications and certifications across relevant disciplines.
My training provides an integrative perspective, while the work itself remains individually tailored to each person.
Services are offered remotely in English to clients internationally.
You do not need to decide whether ongoing support is right for you before we speak.
You are welcome to arrange a complimentary 20-minute conversation to discuss where you are now, what you are looking for and whether my approach may be appropriate for you.
Since Premium 1:1 involves committed time, preparation and individually tailored support, fees are non-refundable, once the programme has started.
The specific terms relating to payment, cancellation and rescheduling are provided, before you commit to working together.
