The Autoimmune Self-Trust and Resilience Assessment

Understand Your Psychological Experience of Autoimmune Illness

This brief, confidential Assessment is designed to help you understand how living with an autoimmune disease may be affecting your psychological wellbeing, self-trust and resilience, because an autoimmune disease can affect far more than physical health, it can influence how you see yourself, respond to uncertainty, manage your energy and capacity, relate to others, and navigate everyday life.

This assessment is an opportunity to pause and reflect.

The assessment explores several areas of the psychological experience of living with an autoimmune disease, helping you consider where you may currently be experiencing the greatest challenges — and where there may be opportunities for change.

You may find it useful if you:

  • Feel that your physical health has changed the way you approach life
  • Find yourself continually adapting to uncertainty or changing capacity
  • Struggle with rest, boundaries or expectations of yourself
  • Notice changes in your identity or sense of who you are
  • Find that your health affects your relationships, work or everyday decisions
  • Function outwardly, while finding things more difficult beneath the surface
  • Simply want to understand your current experience more clearly

What will you receive?

At the end of the Assessment, you'll receive personalised feedback based on your responses.

Your results will highlight the areas of your psychological experience that may currently deserve the most attention, helping you understand yourself more clearly and consider where you might begin.

Your results are also intended, to help you reflect on your current experience and identify areas that may be worth exploring further.

This is not a medical diagnosis or a substitute for professional assessment or treatment.

Give yourself a few minutes to pause, reflect and understand what is happening beneath the surface.

There is no need to have everything figured out before you begin.

Simply answer the questions as honestly as you can.

What happens next?

Your results are a starting point, not an endpoint. They may help you understand which areas of your experience are currently most relevant to you and where further exploration could be valuable.

You can use your results to reflect independently, explore the resources on this website, or, if you would like to talk through what you have discovered, book a complimentary 20-minute conversation.

If you'd like to talk about your results:

You can also book a complimentary 20-minute conversation, to discuss what you are experiencing and whether working together may be appropriate for you.
